Do a snorkel activity, probably the best way to escape from regular vacation in bali
Hi, its Shania again and as i promised that I will writing something about the best activity you can enjoy when visit bali. For this article, I love to start with beach. Because beach is something you merely find everyday when you took a ride from airport into nearest hotel in Bali. And as I mention before that Balilocated at the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, between Java to the west and Lombok to the east, its divided by sea.
There are several option to enjoying Sea activity in here, and first thing you should try is Snorkeling. Itis the practice of swimming on or through a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped breathing tube called a snorkel, and usually swimfins on your foot.

There probably few rumor that Bali have great wave like Hawaii, not make them ideal for doing a snorkel thing. But if you take a ride toeast, at Padangbai beach, you will find such beaches with three along with white sand and calm, clear waters. This quiet sleepy fishing village and doesn't attract so many visitors, meaning the beaches are often quiet and peaceful.
Padangbai has 4 beaches, the main beach, blue lagoon, bias tuge and mimba beach.
There is good diving and snorkeling in the immediate area, and a number of operators are present to cater for those activities. This is also a fairly convenient base from which to explore some of the wider attractions of East Bali. Accommodation tends to be quite basic and aimed at the backpacker market, but there are more upmarket options in town.
The main beach is generally awash with colorful double outrigger fishing boats in the shape of a marlin. The front of the boat is shaped with the point of its mouth open wide and large eyes looking to the heavens. Either side of the main beach are two other hidden coves with nice, quiet white sand beaches.
The Blue Lagoon Beach also known as Padang Kurungan is on the East side of Bali and it took us about 1.5 hours from Kuta just to drive there. But the beach was worth it – it was like a hidden paradise. The beach is clean and water is quite sheer so it’s easy to see what’s underneath. Another good thing, there are not many people there. Blue Lagoon Beach is a great beach for snorkeling. The coral reef is right up to the shore and is very pretty. Best way is to enter on the far left side, where there is a coral-less canal that leads to the snorkeling site.
Mimba Beach or Black Pearl Sand Beach is the last beach in Bali. People used to take a neat in villa near beach while sunrise down. Relaxing atmosphere with sound of waves and palm tree made this area such a living dream come true.
